The Magic of David Copperfield: Orient Express
After making the Statue of Liberty vanish and flying across the Grand Canyon you would have thought it would be hard for Copperfield to find any more spectator illusions - but in this themed special - David floats a genuine train carriage above the heads of a group of spectator before making it vanish into thin air.
As a build up to the final illusion, David transforms his motor cycle into two girls (a beautiful illusion that shows the shape of the bike morphing into the two assistants) and for ages.a superb 'card through glass' routine using the window of a moving train. Other highlights include routines filmed on stage including a very theatrical water leviation of a girl and a perfect performance of Kevin Jame's Floating Rose effect.
The final illusion (The Mystery of the Orient Express) is basially a huge Asra illusion - but even with repeated viewings it is a masterful illusion that will keep you guessing for ages.
